Pin and circle feedback on a page

Leave numbered notes on the exact spot, reply to them and mark them done.

Every Corkle has 3 modes at the top of the page:

  • Browse: use the page as normal, scroll and click links.
  • Pin it: click or tap the exact spot to leave a numbered note.
  • Circle it: drag to draw a circle round an area, then add your note.

On a computer you can also press B, P or C to switch modes, and Esc to stop.

Leave a note

  1. Choose Pin it or Circle it.
  2. Click or tap the spot on the page.
  3. Type your note and choose Save.

Each note gets a number, so everyone can talk about "note 3" and know exactly what you mean. On a phone, the note opens from the bottom of the screen.

Reply to a note

Open a note, type in the Reply… box and choose Reply, or press Enter.

Mark a note completed

When a change is done, open the note and choose Mark completed. We'll ask you to confirm. The note moves to Done, and you can bring it back any time with Reopen note.

The chip at the top shows how many notes are still open. When it reaches 0, the page is signed off.

See all the notes

The Notes panel lists every note, with All, Open and Done tabs. Choose Hide notes to give the page more room.

Check other screen sizes

On a computer, use the view buttons to see the page at desktop, tablet (768px) or phone (390px) width. If a note was left on a different screen size, it tells you which one.
